Ephox has been rolling out new products and services around the Tiny open source brand including TinyMCE Cloud. As VP Product, you will guide the future of technology used to power the web.

You dream about what the future of content creation could be. When it comes to solving problems, you approach solutions with an objective and analytical mindset. You crave data and, when it isn’t there, you seek experimentation to validate your hypotheses.


  • Establish a shared vision and strategy for product development
  • Guide conceptualization, design, development, and release of new features and products across multiple teams
  • Leverage data, including usability research and market analysis, to deeply understand our products, define product requirements and set metrics that measure the success of product objectives
  • Represent your products by communicating product plans, benefits, and results, to a variety of audiences, from internal stakeholders to external partners
  • Prioritize ruthlessly, from minor improvements to large-scale projects
  • Ensure we ship a high-quality product at a timely pace
  • Travel to Brisbane, Australia, at least once a quarter to guide the product team down there, and to Sweden once a year. Domestic travel to visit customers and conferences


  • 5+ years of product management experience on a SaaS product, with a proven history of shipping and managing products with cross-functional teams
  • Strong design understanding: you may not be a designer but you should be able to think deeply about product design decisions and have an understanding of how to create simple but elegant user interfaces
  • Technical fluency: you may not be a developer but you have an understanding of the technical architecture of complex web and mobile applications and can work with engineers to make intelligent technical trade-offs
  • Excellent writing and communication skills: you understand how to adjust your messaging based on the audience and know how to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: you’re a self-starter, can identify opportunities, understand the potential impact and effectively prioritize across multiple competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented: you’re meticulous with everything from detailing robust feature specs to chasing down the nitty-gritty dependencies across complex projects
